Water Hyacinth
Water Hyacinth is a free-floating aquatic plant native to tropical and sub-tropical regions, and is flexible, yet strong and a rapidly renewable resource. The stalk of the plant can be dried in full or shredded then dried to be woven into baskets, ropes, fabrics, and matting.
Rubberwood
Rubberwood is a lightly colored tropical hardwood and a renewable resource. The wood is kiln-dried and ideal for making “new vintage” furniture pieces furniture due to its appearance.
Teak
A staple of our collection, our teak is a sustainable tropical hardwood used in furniture making. It is durable, water resistant and impervious to termites and other pests. If left outdoors, teak beautifies over time exhibiting a gray patina which gives it a rich and stately appearance.
Abaca
Abaca is a rapidly renewable plant native to the Philippines, valued for its strength, flexibility, buoyancy, and resistance to damage in salt water, At Jeffan, we use Abaca in many of our products including baskets, chairs, coffee tables, pendants, and headboards.
Raffia
Raffia is created from the twisting and drying of plant fibers from a specific variety of palm leaves. Items made from raffia exhibit a luxurious look because of raffia’s unique natural texture. For Jeffan’s products, Raffia is woven into twine, rope, baskets, and many other items.
Seagrass
The word “seagrass” encompasses a family of flowering plants that typically grow in shallow waters of coastal climates and makes for great weaving material and displays gorgeous textures and earthy tones. Once harvested, it is woven into furniture pieces and home accents.
Mahogany
Indonesian Mahogany is a rapidly renewable resource heavily featured in our furniture products. It is known for its attractive fine grain, lack of natural defects and its reddish-brown color which darkens over time and has a reddish sheen when polished.
Pine
Indonesian Pine displays a wonderful medium grain and exhibits a beautiful yellowish hue, as well as dark knots which are characteristic of the species. This type of wood is used to craft beautiful, luxurious furniture with a natural look.
Mango Wood
Known for its strength and dense grain, Mango Wood is a rapid growth hardwood native to India, Myanmar, and East Asia. When the tree stops producing fruit, instead of being discarded, we sustainably harvest the Mango Wood and turn it into remarkable pieces of furniture.

Marble is an ever-classic staple in home decor. Its beautiful, natural texture blends into a wide array of décor and is always in style. Because of its somewhat delicate nature, we always recommend protecting your marble table tops from scratches and stains by using coasters and placemats.
Concrete
Created with versatility in mind, our concrete tables are durable enough for outdoor use, but also look great indoors. The smooth finish and natural color variation of concrete fit in perfectly in a contemporary space or modern.
Mindi Wood
Also known as white cedar or Chinaberry, Mindi Wood originated in Asia and India and is naturally resistant to decay and fungi, It has a close grain, very few knots, and the ability to change color: the longer it is exposed to natural light, the darker it will get, making it a popular choice for furniture.
Found
Found items are each unique: Each piece contains its own character and history. Items will vary slightly in color, size, and level of distressing.
Pottery
Three different types of clay are mixed and soaked for 24 hours before they are formed and pressed into molds. Products first receive an undercoat, are dried, and then glazed with natural dyes. They are then fired in the kiln for 10 days at 12oo degrees to create vibrant colors.
Ecomix
Ecomix, also called papier-mâché, is an ancient method used to create forms of pottery by mixing paper pulp, water, and starch. After it has dried, each item is hand carved and sanded. Details such as rattan peel wrapped handles are added as final touches.
Glass
Glass is a material that is both functional and decorative. Our glass products come in many different styles and shapes, from smoked glass vases to mercury votives and clear or matte candle holders. Including glass accents in your room adds color and depth, elevating the style of your design.
Metal
Jeffan utilizes metals such as bronze, steel, iron, and brass to create unique accent pieces or as a design element on select furniture pieces. Metal accents can be chosen for your space to contrast with the softness of fabric or the organic aesthetic of wood, adding an industrial or elegant feel.
