Damages & Claims Guidelines

The customer is responsible for inspecting all packages before accepting. Any damage to the boxes or packaging must be noted on the carrier Bill of Lading and must be given to the freight company at the time of delivery. Pictures of damage are required in processing claims. Failure to inspect and note freight damages or missing items on delivery receipt will result in a denial of your claim.

All claims must be reported within 10 business days of delivery and submitted to customersupport@jeffan.com.

The customer must provide a clear and detailed description and desired resolution on the claim form. All relevant imagery, including a picture of the box with its PO# Label, and a copy of proof of delivery must be provided with the claim. Please allow 7-10 business days for the Jeffan Claims Department to review your claim.

Jeffan is only liable for damages from the Jeffan Warehouse to the destination address provided.

For customer pick up*, Jeffan is not responsible for damages once items leave the warehouse. Please inspect your order for damages prior to loading your merchandise.

Multiple Claims

A separate claim form is needed for reach invoice items that are being claimed on. Claim forms are exclusive to individual invoices. For multiple invoices, a new claim form must be filled out for each.

Returns are not accepted without prior approval. Returns must be in original packaging, and freight is to be arranged by the customer. Once the return is received, it will be inspected to ensure it has been delivered in the original condition in its original boxes. All returns will be charged a 30% restocking fee.
